Friday morning: Got out and over to McLeod's to join for breakfast at Embassy Suites. Pam Noles was joining us along with her trainee Helen. I had to get back to my room before 10 AM because someone was coming to fix the car. Luckily he showed up a moment after I returned.

Thursday morning: Robynne, Finn and I park at Park It on Market and 6th, get a good spot near the elevator and proceed to WALK. It was one heck of a hike to get to the end of the badge pick up line. Wednesday of last week I stayed home from work and packed. I also got my car in for its 160,000 mile service. (It was at 171,000 miles). Robynne stayed at home with Finn when I dropped the car off, and Laura (Finn's fairy godmother) picked me up to take me home. Later on her husband Tim gave me a ride back. One week from today I plan to be among the number at the San Diego Comic Con. I keep thinking I must be utterly mad to try Comic Con with Finn. It's not like the Sky and Winter, for whom Con was much smaller when they were much smaller, and who have so many friends of the family at the Con. Actually, Finn had an entirely goop free day yesterday, and was goopy again this morning. One of the other mothers spoke a medical sounding name, and told me what she does to keep her daughter goop free. I'm going with what Alice said about my last post, and assuming it is a reaction to a virus, and see if it clears up on its own next week ( Read more... )
