Sunday's sermon motivated me to read Hebrews 11. Sometimes I read it and am encouraged- other times I read it and think "yeah, yeah, they were awesome, blah, blah, blah". I'm taking a short break from Weight Watchers. Just in terms of counting things. I'm still trying to not eat like a total pig so that while "taking a break" I do not actually gain weight. I've been writing a lot in my paper journal. Reading this book Unholy Ghost has been thought provoking in that paper-journal-writing kind of way. I have been both surprised with and expecting the way I can identify with these short essays on depression. So I've been thinking a lot about getting a new tattoo. It started a year or more ago when I saw this poem inside of a greeting card. I think it was a "daughter birthday" card.
