This weekend is the first couple of days i have had to myself (i.e. not uni or work involved) in around 10 weeks and the first actual weekend i've had off since I can't remember when.

It's been great to just do what I want.  It's got me looking forward even more to the holidays.

Tomorrow i will finish my summer placement.  The managing director seems pretty pleased with my 25 page report on how to save the environment and big wads of cash at the same time.  If there's money involved, then interest levels elevate.  Morality alone doesn't seem to be enough to justify things.  It would be a nice feeling if the company acted ( Read more... )

i think it's safe to say this has been the most boring summer of my life. i feel like i've hardly been able to do anything...not for the first time, but i thought with more time to achieve stuff it would actually happen. This last while has been exhausting, especially the last 7 days. Working every day is a bit rubbish.  A lot of band stuff happened too making exhaustion double. 3 days in a row of music playing late nights and long distances, fun though it was.  People are good.  It's a nice feeling when people travel to come hear your music.  It's a little bizarre ( Read more... )

My solid state exam was yestertag. twas nicer than i thought it would be, not sure how nice though.
