Jing-pops. first exam tomorrow! yikes. SOLID state physics. crystals, electricity and vibrations. yup. i'm a bit nervous as always. hopefully should go ok. no minging questions would be a bonus.
communication skillz on wednesday should be fine. nothing too stressful. regurgitation. i like it. Essays are like a novelty fun thing that i get to do once every so often between the piles of equations and definitions and graphs. i'm quite looking forward to it, especially now that i have an A for 50% of the module (i think, unless my CV and interview bombed which i dont think they did. my interview was a bit crap but the careers woman was being more probing than any REAL interview i've ever been to. she was a bit of a bitch during our presentation too, asking disgusting questions that none of us clearly would know the answer to, just to embarass us. she's a bit of a hard ass under her jolly, perpetually chuckling, rotund exterior). but yes, i'm sure it wont be an issue.

smashing pumpkins in glasgow the same day as sonic youth? how bloody stupid. do promoters not think? 30 quid to see half original band and half stand-in cover band is a bit much (read: extortionate). glasgow will be full of the flannel, ripped jeans and middle partings on 22nd of august that's for sure.
can;t wait for big amounts of non-uni time. it is needed. this term has been busy + boring = destruction of mental health.
