Contemplating this..
I'm considering donating eggs to make some money quick. Naturally, I've done some extensive research about what's involved, the risks/side-effects, & the procedure itself.. It's looking more appealing by the minute.
Of course, last time I set foot in an ob/gyn office to ask about this, I was told I was pregnant. Life sure is funny sometimes.

I got a fulltime job as a tech support consult at Sutherland Global for AT&T. This is great news for my financial crisis, but it does nothing to quell the growing discontent gathering in the pit of my stomach.

insurance is confusing
Months ago, I was referred to a therapist to help combat post-partum depression. My concern was cost, as I had just returned to work & couldn't afford extensive treatment. I was reassured that the Psychiatric Center was covered by my health insurance and not to worry about it ( Read more... ) -

That last post was written while not in the right state of mind. Call it a meltdown, a sensory overload, or manic freakout; it was fucking scary. I was told that this Mother's Day, I was a mother too. I guess I am, in that I am a proud birth mother.. But in my eyes, a true mother is one who raises her children; I haven't had a part in raising baby J aside from giving birth to him. It's a kind thought, but the idea is bittersweet for me.

I just found out that two more people I know are pregnant.
Why can't I stop feeling sad & just be happy for my friends? I'm being incredibly selfish allowing myself to feel like this, & it really bothers me. Fuck, Laur, get over yourself.

it's that time of the year
It's time to do some spring cleaning in my home & life. I've realized it's better to get rid of needy, self-serving people than suffer by stressing myself out with their issues being projected onto me.
