I was told that this Mother's Day, I was a mother too. I guess I am, in that I am a proud birth mother.. But in my eyes, a true mother is one who raises her children; I haven't had a part in raising baby J aside from giving birth to him. It's a kind thought, but the idea is bittersweet for me.
But I happen to know some wonderful mothers: my own mum, my hopefully-future stepmom-in-law Judy, second mom Patti, ghstlady15, new mommies Andrea & Lorraine, my friend Meg-Meg; the list is endless.
Someday I'll be able to join the ranks!
