Once again
It has been a quiet Yule with friends and family. Not too much celebration but there has been a lot of catching up with family. Mike and Tom showed up to Mom’s place for Christmas Eve dinner and Mom was in good form; smiling, winking, reaching her hand out to Tom, and feeding herself. It was a really lovely visit. Welcome home!
After a long day at work, I returned home at 9:00 this evening to find ambulances parked outside my building. Once again my next door neighbor is being taken to the hospital for heart problems. This time, his drinking seems to have also given him stomach bleeding. I'm sorry for his Mom who is trapped in the apartment with him but sorrier for the ( Read more... ) -

I haven't forgotten about LJ, I've been working two jobs and working with CAT and discovering that the internet is a luxury when you are tired all the time. Facebook, blogs, and journals go by the wayside when every moment is filled with how to pay the reant, pay the bills, work, and see Mom. I’m sitting at work on a Sunday morning with nothing to do because the phones system has not been updated to correspond with the new shift hours. We are not supposed to use work computer for personal work or games but with nothing to do I have decided to types a bit.
