Back to the grind
Well, I am back at work now after an enjoyable trip to Palm Springs. I really didn't want to come back, and I have been cleaning up a lot of crap that should have been done while I was gone, but a co-worker decided not to do it, so joy and rapture.

Have you ever....
Have you ever felt sad enough that you literally got sick to your stomach? That's me today...work is pure stress, my ongoing saga with Dan keeps giving me alternating extreme highs and soul-crushing lows, and I feel like I am going out of my mind. Poem I just wrote
This has been an interesting past couple of days.....I found out on Thursday, my Birthday night, that Dan would still be interested in pursuing something between us...though he wants some time to see what else is out there in the world. Well, it's official...
I had a talk with Dan today after I went on to a website we mutually belong to, and I read his journal about his boyfriend.....and he finally admitted to me that he loves Marcus, and that we really don't have a chance ourselves. He says that it is because we are too similar....While I think we are different enough to keep interested....then again ( Read more... ) -

OK....Musing out loud here
Well, I am in a bit of mental turmoil right now, and I am not sure what I can do about it. I have talked with the guy from my last post, (a.k.a. Dan), and seen him 3-4 times since then. The day after we had our huge 2.5 hour talking/crying event, we went hiking. It felt good to exert myself, and the time with Dan was priceless. Still hurt a bit ( Read more... ) -
Walking wounded
So relationships have never been a strong point for me...it gets so tricky for me to negotiate that at times that it's like doing advanced level calculus while strapped to a log that's about to go through a lumber mill buzz saw.... And now I am in the throes of another round of heartache.

Whee, fun...work!
Well, I am here at the office, starting another work week, wishing I weren't here at all.
