I just got home from the first meeting of the creativity workshop and spiritual discussion group. I just feel like it sometimes. It is spring, which means yard work, some of which was waiting for me from last fall when I ignored it. Now I have to deal or live with brown grass all summer. My doc has perscribed 3 more weeks of PT, one of which is actually completed as of today. Not that it's changing anything. I don't feel any different now than I did a week ago. Doc perscribed some different pain meds that I can only take at night because they make me sleepy. That won't help at work, I have to switch over to Tylenol during the ( Read more... )

My friend and the band last night were awesome. The show is definately worth seeing if you get the chance. Mr. Slim has quite the sense of humor and appears to be a complete gentleman. I just wished a few more folks would have come out to see, shows are much more fun when there is a crowd. I stayed out way too late but it was worth it ( Read more... )

DBF came over and fixed the garage door on his way to work. I was beginning to wonder if I was going to be able to get my car out without help, then he volunteered to come over. Wonderful man!

okee dokee, So I earned my medal. Next olympics I will hopefully not be going through medical stuff and will feel confident enough to choose a more challenging project. Of course since then I have continued on the lace curtains that I want to get done by the time my kitchen is done. They are about 1/10th of the way there. I am really enjoying ( Read more... )

Good thing I had the morning off today. One of the installers came back and fixed my drawer that was loose. The car insurance people called (finally) about the accident and I got a claim number, yadda yadda, I found my car title to prove that they should be paying me, and not the finance company because I OWN my car.
