My doc has perscribed 3 more weeks of PT, one of which is actually completed as of today. Not that it's changing anything. I don't feel any different now than I did a week ago. Doc perscribed some different pain meds that I can only take at night because they make me sleepy. That won't help at work, I have to switch over to Tylenol during the day.
Bellydance last night was fun. I was in a really depressed mood on the way there, had a good day at work until the last 1/2 hour then decided to take it personally that someone didn't want to stick around and do their job. Anyway, the dancing lifted my spirits. I did better this week than last. I always feel awkward the first time through, then when we do the final time through all the moves they seem easier. Then I have 6 days to practice at home in between work and the other excercises that my therapist has given me for homework. The cyle of classes is 14 weeks, and I started on week 3. My guess is that I might need to have 2 trips through the cycle to get this stuff down pat. We will see if I feel like jumping up a level at that point. Intermediate classes are more structured and you can't jump in anytime like the beginners anyway, so I would have to keep taking the beginners classes until the beginning of a new class came around.
I ordered and paid for the counter tops today at Lowe's. It will be at least 1 week and possibly up to 3 weeks until they are ready to install. I am hoping for closer to the 3 weeks, because if I am not working it will be easier to schedule.
I have at least until April 10th and possibly until the 17th at full time. I wanted to be done in 3 weeks, but the boss wants me to stay 4. I think that giving any more than 2 weeks is doing him a favor. I would love to go part time today, but that ain't gonna happen.
