I started trouble.
I guess it's because I miss writing for an audience. And also, I hate feeling like the "other." I don't know why, since we've been "other" for 5700+ years. But maybe it's just the pandemic and the not working thing.

WTF LJ?
Had another of those "failed auth" for three of four days, where LJ wouldn't let me in. This time, though, I didn't freak out and throw things (metaphorically speaking, of course) because it's happened so often that I knew it was temporary. So I just waited a few days and then came back.

Closing in on Closing
Just a few days from now, we will own two houses. Maybe that's why I am having migraines every day.
So many issues surrounding this: Danny, seen through two microscopes, ours and theirs.
Money: our life savings and our kids.

"No surgery" is the best thing I can say about my ortho appointment yesterday. What can I say that was good? The PT was correct: It IS a frozen shoulder, among other things. Frozen shoulders are interesting; if you Google them, a chart comes up that shows you the duration. I, as usual, am off the chart. I should be in the thawing process already. I ( Read more... )
