Things are looking UP

Something amazing happened yesterday:

I raised my left arm parallel to the ground. And then, up another two inches.

HOORAY!

And then, I was able to apply deodorant with no pain on both sides. TMI? Still, this has been a horrible chore for MONTHS. It was still awkward, but it was accomplished quickly, and today was even easier. Progress! I am excited, and thinking I am, perhaps, entering the thawing stage at long last. Although there is still pain, it is not reverberating.

This, at last, is good news. It is coupled with the return of the pins and needles, but that never really bothers me. (The cold never bothered me anyway. Stop that singing!)

And the painter is finishing today. And is only charging us $500, after all that work. Love him! And love the new lights he installed in the great room, because now there is no guilt if I turn them on and leave them on!

Had a great day yesterday; brunch with friends, surprising them with Amy's apples for Chanukah, a possible new client, and then stopping off at the JHCC to see some friends and make others squirm. And then, new nails. All in all, a great day.

house, friends, health
