A friend’s post on LJ got me to thinking about how long it has been since I posted. I couldn’t remember - so I had to look it up: September 22, 2011. I spent the better part of Sunday cleaning up and taking care of my Roadie and making sure that everything was just so, and that she was in great working order... Checked her out electrically and mechanically (the best I could) and then wash, dry, wax and polish. Then off to a photo session.... to put her up for sale ( Read more... )

Today is day four after my back surgery. They had me up and walking 8 hours afterwards.... amazing. The anesthesia wore off and I was doing OK until day three. In the last 5 or 6 days, I’ve come to the conclusion that my back is not getting any better. The latest attempt at chiropractic has resulted in helping very short-term, but ultimately not doing much good. I honestly can’t tell you where the last two months have gone! Time is passing incredibly quickly right now and I’ve spent most of it dealing with herniated disc issues. Had my third epidural (and last for a while) to moderate success - it definitely helped but didn’t solve the issue - looking into chiropractic now ( Read more... )

Just back from the outpatient surgery center. Laying on the couch with my feet up. Doc said everything went well and he felt the “Lumbar Transforaminal Epidural Steroid Injection” went fine and should really help ( Read more... )
