Who's there
So my hair is red. Really red. I'm either going to grow to like it or just watch it fade over time. I was thinking more of a rich auburn coloured red, but this red is more of a candy apple type. Not too sure on it just yet ( Read more... ) -
It's just another rainy day
The weather has really cooled down lately. I'm enjoying it though and I am hoping that we wont get another heat wave or something and that this weather is here to stay. Only problem that I have with it, is that my hands are always cold. Sometimes they get so cold that they start to hurt. Not fun. I need some new wristies ( Read more... ) -
What the..?
After a bit of deliberation I decided to get another guinea pig. I was thinking of adopting one from the humane society, however the one guinea pig they had was gone last time I checked. So I bought a baby one from the pet store.

Going on
Yesterday my guinea pig died. He was only 5 years old. I'm going to miss the little guy. Especially his squeaks during meal times or when bags were rustled. We took him into a wooded area by the trail and buried him under a tree across from a field of clover/wild flowers. I'm unsure if I'll get another guinea pig. Difficulty
You know what I hate? Playing phone tag for weeks when you're trying to get a hold of someone. For about two weeks now I've been trying to contact this woman in regards to the PSW course, but every time I call all I get is her voice mail and when she phoned me back it went to voice mail since I didn't get to the phone in time. Way behind
I have many comments I need to reply to. Will try to get to that later. My internet connection has been on the fritz lately. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. And it goes down for hours at a time. Quite annoying actually. Even more so because the cable company insists there is nothing wrong with the line. So we're crazy. -
No more
I know it's summer and summer usually equals hot and humid weather. Even so I would like this humidity to please go away. Honestly I wouldn't mind it so much if I had AC, but I don't. So this weather makes me uncomfortable. I cannot wait for the fall ( Read more... ) -
A month out
Surgery went well. Not going to get into too many gritty details though. Wasn't expecting the amount of pain I had after surgery when I was in recovery, but after they shot me full of morphine I felt a bit better. One thing I remember from recovery is when one of the nurses asked what my pain level was on a scale of 1-10. I said 500. That made them ( Read more... ) -
It's time
Tomorrow is the day (if you're on facebook you already know that though). I'll be having surgery at 8 in the morning. I have to be there for 6am! So it's going to be a early, early day. I'm nervous and I am hoping that everything will go great. Still need to pack and get ready. But here I go.
