The weather has really cooled down lately. I'm enjoying it though and I am hoping that we wont get another heat wave or something and that this weather is here to stay. After a bit of deliberation I decided to get another guinea pig. I was thinking of adopting one from the humane society, however the one guinea pig they had was gone last time I checked. So I bought a baby one from the pet store.

Yesterday my guinea pig died. He was only 5 years old. I'm going to miss the little guy. Especially his squeaks during meal times or when bags were rustled. We took him into a wooded area by the trail and buried him under a tree across from a field of clover/wild flowers. I'm unsure if I'll get another guinea pig. Only 10 days left until my birthday. I don't know why I am counting down though. I'm not really doing anything on my actual birthday. I think Gizmo might be starting to warm up to me a bit. I had him sitting with me at the computer eating romaine lettuce out of my hand. He was doing fine until Freddie decided she had to jump up and start cleaning him. Unfortunately for her she terrifies him. I am finished! The assignments that were due this week are all done. Now I just sit back and wait for the marks. Hopefully they will be good marks. I already got the mark back on one of the assignments. It was 96% Not bad. Psychology seems to be my thing.
