The weather has really cooled down lately. I'm enjoying it though and I am hoping that we wont get another heat wave or something and that this weather is here to stay. Yesterday my guinea pig died. He was only 5 years old. I'm going to miss the little guy. Especially his squeaks during meal times or when bags were rustled. We took him into a wooded area by the trail and buried him under a tree across from a field of clover/wild flowers. I'm unsure if I'll get another guinea pig. You know what I hate? Playing phone tag for weeks when you're trying to get a hold of someone. For about two weeks now I've been trying to contact this woman in regards to the PSW course, but every time I call all I get is her voice mail and when she phoned me back it went to voice mail since I didn't get to the phone in time. Surgery went well. Not going to get into too many gritty details though. Wasn't expecting the amount of pain I had after surgery when I was in recovery, but after they shot me full of morphine I felt a bit better. One thing I remember from recovery is when one of the nurses asked what my pain level was on a scale of 1-10. I said 500. That made them ( Read more... )

Tomorrow is the day (if you're on facebook you already know that though). I'll be having surgery at 8 in the morning. I have to be there for 6am! So it's going to be a early, early day. I'm nervous and I am hoping that everything will go great. Still need to pack and get ready. But here I go.

I did a lot better on the nuclear equations test than I thought I did. I got my mark back a few days ago, I got an 80% on that test. Not too bad considering where I'm coming from. I just really need to pull that math mark up from a 60% to a 75-80%. I really want to pass these courses successfully by October 2nd so I can apply for the practical ( Read more... )

I got an email today telling me that I am officially registered for classes. I'll be taking math, biology and chemistry. It's all through the local college using a online program. I'm supposed to get the textbooks delivered sometime in the next week or so. Hopefully I can successfully pass these courses and then think about how I can achieve ( Read more... )

I'm still unemployed, but that's no surprised when the number of unemployed in November was 71,000 and 66,000 of that being in Ontario. It sucks because this entire province has built it's self around the car industry and they're just screwing it all up. Money. Screws everything up ( Read more... )
