Luckily so far I am doing ok in the chemistry course. I don't have really high marks, only about a 75% average, but it's ok. I think what gets me the most is the equations and formulas. They frustrate me to know end, and half the time I don't know if I'm doing it correctly. I feel dumb. Biology is much better for me, I have about a 85% average in ( Read more... )

Last night was splurge night and we had take out. Fish and chips to be exact. Never again. Ever. My blood sugar dropped down to 3.4 mmol/l (61.1 mg/dl) That was one of the worst feelings I've ever had. I had to drink some coke to bring my sugar back up to normal. Thought all was good. I'm doing okay so far in the chemistry and biology courses. I still have a lot to cover by October though. I'm about a lesson or two away from my first exam in both courses. I'm a little nervous about passing those exams. Although I'm not doing as well in math. I only have 60% in that class, so I think I might need to retake it ( Read more... )

I did a lot better on the nuclear equations test than I thought I did. I got my mark back a few days ago, I got an 80% on that test. Not too bad considering where I'm coming from. I just really need to pull that math mark up from a 60% to a 75-80%. I really want to pass these courses successfully by October 2nd so I can apply for the practical ( Read more... )

I took some pre-assessment tests for the courses I need as pre-reqs for the nursing program. On the biology I got a score in the 90s. Chem math, core math and physics I got scores in the 80's. You need at least a 70% on these pre-assessment tests to actually take the course. So I guess I'm good to go on those courses. However when it came to ( Read more... )
