A month out

Surgery went well. Not going to get into too many gritty details though. Wasn't expecting the amount of pain I had after surgery when I was in recovery, but after they shot me full of morphine I felt a bit better. One thing I remember from recovery is when one of the nurses asked what my pain level was on a scale of 1-10. I said 500. That made them laugh. That's me, comedic relief even when I'm barely conscience and not of sound mind.

I'm a little over 4 weeks out now. Losing weight rather slowly. I've only lost 14lbs since surgery. Although overall I have lost 40lbs. Nothing really fits well anymore, however I'm not buying anything new just yet. Haven't even got any new undies yet. It's amusing too, they don't fit at all. I'm only 22lbs away from my first goal, but sometimes feel I'll never get there. It's frustrating.

Haven't been online much either. Usual things happening. Job hunting to no avail. I don't think that is ever going to change. It's annoying and frustrating. Glad the heat wave is over for now. Still humid out, but no where near the temperatures we had last week.

Been playing Mass Effect 1/2 lately. I like the game. Also looking forward to Dragon Age 2 coming out next year, but that's about it.
