I'm so very frustrated because I just noticed that an entire post of mine has completely disappeared! It was the second post about my Dallas trip, and it was very long with tons of pictures. I can't imagine what happened to it! It's not saved in my drafts or anywhere else I can find. Boo.

I got back into town and after having five days off I worked for two days, and then I got two more days off. Jeff and I already had tickets to go see the Legendary Pink Dots in Portland, so we drove down there on Friday afternoon. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to get there from where we live, so it's a very easy weekend trip. It was just my regular ( Read more... )

I've been living in Washington for more than seven years at this point. When I first left Texas it felt so foreign and weird and not like home, but at this point it feels very natural for me to be here even if Texas will always be home. It's already Tuesday and I'm just now finding a few minutes to sit down and write something here. This morning was a very exciting one because I was able to buy concert tickets for two bands who I've been dreaming of seeing for years! We'll be driving down to Portland, Oregon to see Heilung in January, who will be coming over for their first American tour, and then in May Dead Can Dance will be playing in Seattle.
