I'm so very frustrated because I just noticed that an entire post of mine has completely disappeared! It was the second post about my Dallas trip, and it was very long with tons of pictures. I can't imagine what happened to it! It's not saved in my drafts or anywhere else I can find. Boo.

I suppose I can repost the pictures but writing out the entire post again is unappealing to me right now. To sum up... lots of delicious Mexican food, I went to the Dior exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art with my sister and loved it, even though my sister and I have a very complicated relationship and I'm very cautious about allowing her back into my life. My friend Jim and I had a little memorial type get together in remembrance of our friend Shea who committed suicide 20 years ago, and later that night a huge tornado struck the city, going through the neighborhood his house is in, making it very difficult for us to get home that night. It was pretty frightening and caused a huge amount of damage to Dallas, but thankfully nobody died!

My favorite veggie tacos from Fuzzy's Taco Shop. Yum.

This taqueria was funny to me because it shows so clearly the level of Texas pride that people have. Texas flags EVERYWHERE. My sister and nieces didn't even notice because they're so used to seeing it!

I don't love the fashion industry but I did really enjoy this exhibit, and seeing all of the creativity of both the clothes and the exhibit itself. It was quite beautiful.

My friend Jim, who I've known for over 20 years. He's permanently disabled after being severely beaten by skinheads about 10 years ago, but he beat the odds and survived. He can no longer work so every time I come down to visit he's happy to let me stay with him and he chauffeurs me around. He's awesome.

The alerts that I kept getting on my phone while the storm was moving through. It was pretty scary because we truly had nowhere to take cover, but luckily it didn't hit the area that we were in.
