I'm back?

So. Livejournal huh? I guess things really do all cycle back around at some point. After all the years that I was on here I really never thought that I'd come back to it, yet here I am. I haven't deleted my old profile but after all these years I decided that it would be best to start fresh, as I feel like an entirely different person than the one

You are indeed back, unless I'm very much mistaken. And what a pleasant surprise!

I set up the the_lj_revival community a week or two ago, and although it hasn't been going long, it's already had some success in persuading folk to add one-another and interact. It might be worth a look.

Thank you very much for inspiring me. It might sound silly but I'm excited to get back over here. I always enjoyed this site far more than any other type of social networking, and I know the writing is good for me.

I will definitely check out the community and see if I can connect with some other folks.

Not silly at all! That's exactly how I feel about LiveJournal too. When I set up my present account, I decided that I was going to keep posting regardless of what everyone else was doing and whether or not I got any feedback, just because this is what I want to do. In the end, I feel vindicated and that my persistence has paid off.

I also like LiveJournal as a record of my circumstances and where my head was at at any given time. Unlike on Facebook, it's easy to scroll back through your old posts and see all of them in chronological order, and I'm always interested to see how things have changed and the progress I've made. It's surprising how quickly it happens. Sometimes I discover that I was in a completely different frame of mind only two or three months ago.
