Ooh! this was wonderful! I adored it, and it was, too, "hardcore" enough for me. And hot! Ohmygod with the hotness... and this was so buffy. i'm actually rather amazed at how buffy it was; it's so hard to "get into" a character's head and have it sound right. This was pitch-perfect.

Love you, but I think you're protesting a tad too much about your non-gayness ;)

Okay, I am going to grudgingly admit I liked it. Still not a huge fan of the toe stuff, but you weren't too descriptive about that so I'm okay. And I echo everyone else, that would definitely be an inner Buffy monologue (were she to have toe sex with Faith under the library table).

Right, I'm back. I actually had to re-read this, in the interests of providing objective feedback, you understand *g* And yeah, second time around I still want to marry this fic and have its babies...weird image, but still. I'll echo everyone else in saying how well you got inside Buffy's head, this was beautifully in character throughout. I loved your choice to do it as a first person stream of consciousness monologue, I think it definitely added to the immediacy, and the intimacy of it. Don't swear never to do it again, you're good at it. Also, weren't you just saying you wished you could branch out? Well you did, and you can. When's the second person fic coming out? (-: Anyway, the way you slowly built the sexual tension, had just the right balance of denial, and confusion, and teen lust and humour, and maybe under it all something deeper. And the slow build and good characterization (of Faith as well as Buffy) made this really damned hot to read, and I never thought I'd say that about toe-fucking! Having them doing it under the
