A group of my women friends is coming over tomorrow night...
To eat tacos, drink sangria, and watch "Glass Onion". We have also all decided to go in together on a ticket for the Powerball. It's $5 I'll never see again, but it's been fun talking about what we'd do with the money.

Once again, Christmas is kicking my ass, and it's just Dec. 1
Ugh. Why does everything happen in the first two weeks of December? The third week is a perfectly respectable time to have holiday events. Why must we cram them all into the first 14 days of the month?
I'm going to be complaining a lot over the next two weeks. I apologize for harshing your holiday buzz in advance.

The Southern Thrift on Donelson is closing.
It was my favorite place to shop. In fact, I had a Southern Thrift outfit on for church Sunday...a blue and red window pane plaid suit, a red sweater, a sterling snake ring, and a blue all-weather coat. I added a blue and red vintage hat, a blue purse, red leather gloves, and blue shoes.

My feelings of schadenfreude are epic. Alas, my state is redder than before, because they gerrymandered the snot out of Nashville, the largest blue spot in the state.

Well, I contracted COVID about a week and a half ago during a work trip. Two of my other colleagues also tested positive. I marched in UT's homecoming last Saturday, and I really started to feel bad as the day went on. It is really annoying me that I can't post from my phone.
Anyhoo, I had a conference in Orlando this past long weekend, so I worked in a couple of visits to Disney. I spent about 4 hours at Animal Kingdom, but only saw/did 3 things--It's Tough to Be a Bug, the Safari Ride, and the Pandora ride, which was pretty cool, but took us nearly an hour and a half, on its own. My Check Tire Pressure light won't go off, my alignment is badly out of whack, and there are grommets missing from my splash shield, so I'm at the dealership this morning having all of those problems addressed.
