Anyhoo, I had a conference in Orlando this past long weekend, so I worked in a couple of visits to Disney. I spent about 4 hours at Animal Kingdom, but only saw/did 3 things--It's Tough to Be a Bug, the Safari Ride, and the Pandora ride, which was pretty cool, but took us nearly an hour and a half, on its own. Then I spent 6 hours at Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween and rode all the rides that I didn't get to ride when I was 11 (the last time I went to Disney World), because my father would not wait in line for anything. I rode Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle River Cruise, and Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride. Then we stayed for the parade and the fireworks.
A few pics:
The Dia de los Muertos Mickey ears that I got at the Pirates of the Caribbean gift shop.

My haul from trick or treating around the park:
I did all this without pulling a muscle or scraping an elbow, then I rode the merry-go-round at Disney Springs and banged the snot out of my bad knee. It still has a big ol' bruise on it.
In other news, I had my first pap smear in about 4 years today, and it was excruciating. I apparently have a small polyp on my cervix, and it makes the speculum insertion especially painful.
