Odd
For some reason - known perhaps only to my laptop - my keyboard stopped working and I couldn't type at all or get any of the other non-letter keys to work. How odd. But then I went into System>Keyboard and typed in there and it worked okay and now it is working just fine in here too.
How strange. -

As some of you know I fell off my bike when I crashed it at the weekend (it's okay you can laugh at the image of me flying through the air and then hitting the floor and sliding along it for several inches). A good cause
Hi everyone,
I'm just writing here to ask you to consider sponsoring my cousin Claire and her husband Andrew on a bike ride in London in a week and a half. Claire will be doing 52 miles while Andrew will cycle 26 miles.
Andrew got a rare form of cancer and is now thankfully in the clear - they're raising money to go towards research.

I has internets (and other stuff)
So I finally have internet in my new house. It started working late on Wednesday. I'm now much happier. I'm up to date with Doctor Who again, which makes me happy. I still have the last episode of Ashes to Ashes to catch up on and the whole of Outnumbered. So I'm getting settled in my new house now. I have a cunning plan about how to build a desk in my study. It will also create more room in the spare room so one day I can fit a bed in there I hope.
The front room is respectably tidy and has been since Wednesday now. The bathroom is also tidy. So visitors are welcome provided they excuse the mess ( Read more... )
