Yesterday we had record breaking snow. We got over 50 centimeters which is about two and a half feet. My lessons for yesterday were canceled, but I had a meeting at night to start planing the 'Werewolf Game' in English, so my friend was nice enough to pick us up and drive us to Sendai. I had a really bad day today. I woke up in a crappy mood and I went to immigration for the second time. It's a huge schlep out there and I've done it twice. So this time, even though they have approved my coworkers sheets, they decide to deny mine because the seal is different from last year. American holidays in other countries are always hard. Even though I've only had experience being in Japan when there are American holidays, I imagine it is hard for other ex-pats, too.

I came back to Japan for one week in America last Tuesday and I'm feeling some major culture shock. :( I hope it goes away soon. I hate feeling like this. Thursdays and Saturdays are the work days that I like the least. For Thursday I have a weird schedule with 2.5 hours packed in at the end with work until 9:30. So far I've had to work until 9:40 everyday. Today is my last day of 6 day weeks, though, so yay. It's one of those days when you feel crappy and it's raining and it's the day back from vacation and you just want to roll away and hide under some covers. Blah. I need to dig up enthusiasm from anywhere.
Is it weird that I actually feel like an accomplished adult when I'm able to get the trash out on time? Haha.
