I saw Star Wars: Clone Wars today. Wheeeee!! Not as great as the films, mind you, but still very fun. Very witty, too. I wanna be Ahsoka! :D

And the best thing about all the previews before the movie... THERE'S GONNA BE A MADAGASCAR 2!!!!! :D *happy dance* I loved the first Madagascar film and can't wait for the sequel. The preview looked great!

Saw Indiana Jones 4 yesterday! Loved it! :D We were going to go to the 4:15pm matine, but when we got there at 3:45 all of the shows were sold out until 6:30. So we bought the 6:30 tickets and walked around the nearby shopping center. Then got in line at 5:30 for the show. Much fun ( Read more... )

Didn’t get to sleep in at all this weekend.  : ( Yesterday was Certificate of Merit testing for MTAC, so I was up and at it bright and early. Many keyboard, string, voice and woodwind students took a written theory exam and performed technic and performance pieces for an evaluator. The wind picked up around 10pm Saturday night. It woke me up at 6:30 on Sunday morning. So much for sleeping in this weekend. I watched 28 Weeks Later last night. It's the sequel to 28 Days Later. It was absolutely gross! lol :D

I watched a movie called Once last night. One of my adult students was taken in by one of the songs featured in the film, Falling Slowly, and had written out the melody by ear. She asked for help with harmonizing the melody. So I thought I would watch it to get a sense of the song she's so interested in and - Wow! What a great film!

I was late to an appointment yesterday. After waiting *forever* at one stoplight, I discovered that the road I had turned on was closed at the train crossing, which I couldn't see from the street I was turning off of until it was too late.
