studio recital
My studio recital for my piano kids is today at 5pm. It's been tradition to have a potluck after the spring recital. It's smallish, probably the smallest recital I've held, with 7 kids performing. Two kids might not make it; they've been ill this week and their mom was supposed to call me yesterday and I haven't heard from her nor is anyone ( Read more... ) -

freaky weather!
My internet mysteriously broke yesterday. Very frustrating. It's embarrassing to admit but I get cranky when I can't get on the net. It all seems to be working now though. *knocks on wood*
Flight to Chicago is booked! I shall be landing at 1pm and am hopeful I'll reach the hotel at a reasonable time thereafter.

It's graduation weekend. There's not a hotel room to be found in town at the moment, so if you didn't book a year in advance, you're out of luck.
Ten years ago yesterday, I graduated with a Bachelor's in Music and Certificate in Piano Pedagogy. Ten years. Where did the time go?
