Saturday night I lay in bed with my eyes closed for 8 hours before finally falling asleep well after sunrise Sunday morning... only to sleep for about an hour and then get up. I got a phone call this morning* from the doctor's office. They were trying to get authorization for Botox to treat my TMJ. So I answer the phone and the woman says to me "they said your prescription coverage was terminated as of the end of June ( Read more... )

So I'm back to the temazepam for sleep, which is working to keep me asleep but not so well for falling asleep. The melatonin seems to do nothing. I talked with my psychiatrist about all of the random anxiety I've been having, and how my brain keeps coming up with things for me to fret and stress over, or just obsess over for no reason. First off, the party was a lot of fun. A ton of people came, and almost everyone was in costume. We wore the same thing we did last year (except I didn't wear the gloves or the extremely silly crown.) The party was mostly in and around a barn, and the people who live there have two horses. I'm on day three of the antibiotics and so far it hasn't changed. I've been having to take a pain pill in the late morning and it wears off by evening, so I need another one if I want any hope of sleep. These things don't grow on trees and I'm worried I will run out. My dentist prescribed me some more, but they're not as strong as the ones the guy ( Read more... )

Sunday night: severe wrist pain (possibly carpal tunnel...someday when I have health insurance again I should have that looked at) led me to take 800mg of ibuprofen.
