I wrote a big long post on Facebook to commemorate Matthew, who passed away a couple days ago. That's some real weird shit, to lose a close friend for the first time. So I hit up Crossfit during my lunch break and did the "total" workout. I am v. thrilled.

-Pulled 275 on deadlift (barely a month ago I could only do 235)
-Squatted 215, ass to the floor
-Shoulder press 140, I can do more sitting down but whatever.

Tried to do a muscle-up but it still eludes me...

In any case, this...has...gone...well.

One year ago around this time, I woke up and said to myself, "I'm getting married today."

Nowadays, I couldn't be happier with the way things have unfolded.
