2010 already?
Holy long time no post batman. I was going to write a big year thing about 2009 but I seldom feel like writing anymore. So here's an abridged version.
So I just started writing last year's review in list format but it really doesn't do any of it justice. 2009 was a year full of ups and downs, the most notables being Andrea's dad beating lung cancer, losing Memaw, inheriting and renovating the house, and me joining Crossfit. Lots of good, and lots of bad. We learned a hell of a lot last year about a lot of things. Are the first two years of everyone's marriage like this?
But now all of that is over. The renovation is done, we're debt free, and just...living our life. In fact, that's what the doctor told Andrea's dad when he got his last checkup. Live your life. What a great thing to hear, and I want this year to be like that for Andrea and me too.
There's still a little drama going on but it's mostly minor, and right now there's nothing huge looming over our heads. All that remains are day to day concerns about money and being a homeowner. That, and the fact that we're going to Ireland next week with Jeff and Elizabeth. Kinda looking forward to that one.
