L and I met for dinner last night on the spur of the moment, and then I came home, showered, watched the end of the Rangers game, and went to bed. I was so tired! The whole thing is like a blur.

Holy crap, I had a ton of work writing to get done today, and it is all done. I mean, first drafts have been sent off to all relevant parties to edit, because final drafts have to be done by close of business Wednesday, but that's all right. Ugh. This has been a ridiculously long day. I was at work by 8 because of a conference call (which everybody else was able to take from home or wherever. So this afternoon, I tried out this teriyaki chicken recipe for the crockpot. I used two (boneless, skinless) chicken breasts instead of four, and I added a cup of uncooked rice (and some diced onions), but I kept the measurements for the sugar (I used brown sugar) and soy sauce the same.
