So, my parents and brother came to visit me in Chicago, and it was quite an adventure. We had to stay in the suburbs because all of the hotels in the city were full (it was opening weekend for the Cubs). So, for the last couple of weeks, I have had no day job. At first, I did a lot of slacking off, but today, I was very productive, so I am proud of myself. :) I'm hoping to actually have a clean apt., car fixed, and laundry done before MTS comes tomorrow night. Why am I so frustrated with myself? I was at a really good place in my life somewhere around December/January...and it's just been crazy ever since. My one acts are going okay...my ghost story is awesome, but my comedy, frankly, is not going as well as I had hoped. I'm getting down to the nitty gritty in terms of my shows...it's very exciting. I think I do my best work when I have waited until the very last minute! My ghost story (Autumn Leaves by Don Nigro)is beautiful and my actresses have been amazing and graceful.
