Directing Interview
I just got an interview for a Directing job in the fall!
It's with the Grove Players, who I don't know much about...they got my name from my mentor because they need directors. I'm going to pick up the plays this week, for perusal. Cross your fingers for me! It's only been a month, but I really miss directing, so I would really be excited to have a project to focus on. :)
I am also trying to work on a devised piece, much like Bought and Sold, and I would be very curious to hear from people (whether you worked on it, or just saw it) what you liked about the show and the process, and what you thought could have been better or different. It was truly one of the pieces that I learned the most from as a director and I would like to try to refine the process to use for a new project, and also to continue to revise B&S and see if I can get it produced in Chicago. So let me know what you think!
I would also be interested in hearing from people who worked on Sincerely...how that process was, what you liked and what you didn't. I will be home in a couple of weeks and would love to see the video b/c I have heard that it's gorgeous. :)
