This morning I had the strangest dream:  there was suddenly a 2nd, additional stove on the middle of my boat, and I (concerned about it not being warm enough for the kittens = explanation further below) was stoking it. But instead of using fire-starters for the coal, I used great, massive broken bars of chocolate...

My absence has been a lengthy one this time - it’s been a strange phase since coming back from my trip, with a lot of deep thoughts not yet ready to be put into words. The most hectic party weekend before Christmas just accomplished, I am left a bit… tender.  ;-P

My head has been swimming a bit today, back at work. It’s daunting how quickly you forget routines: when I was away, Mexico & Guatemala’s blazing sun felt full on & extremely real, leaving me to right now feel a bit disorientated at my work place with its artificial lighting & glum snow dressed windows. Bless I at least remembered my pass words!!

I'm in my last week of travelling now so I'd better catch up! my internet access has been a bit hit & miss with crammed internet cafes, slow/dated pc's or simply none at all (*I was once, amusingly, kicked out because they wanted a siesta..). *boooots, cooome*   *boooots, cooome*   ...dire straits will be experienced if the postman doesn’t put his skates on: viewing my current shoe collection I don’t think high heels is a great idea for trekking. It may have taken a while though to realise the ‘hole’ in my collection was not yet another pair of heels, but sturdy rubber soles… ha!
