Argh, finally: someone else gives me a pat on the back... *wink*. Did feel absolutely shattered at one point last week & I wasn't the best of hostesses the first 24 hrs, although I picked up after that.

We’re not competing; we’re fulfilling separate dreams. :-p

With this shadow hanging over work, one month was really the only possible choice. That said, I still hope to have a long travel-sabbatical again one day, but I’ll have to await the right company as travel with a companion is the one experience I haven’t had yet. :-)
