I don't come around here much. I'm over at Dreamwidth.org now, same username and all. I can't read Russian (yet, might try learning it thru Duolingo) and I'm trying something new, altho I'm posting about as sporadically there as I have been here of late. -
An Inconsequential Post
Last year I ripped the Now That's What I Call Christmas CDs to my computer. Since I was at work at the time, I did it as quickly as possible, even though we were not busy and I was essentially alone in the room. I told Mom about my plan to bring Bacon into the house, and that I made an appointment. Her only reservations are if he pees all over everything, which he doesn't (Yay!) and if he gets along with Zorra, which he does, but she doesn't, exactly. It's not a constant battle. Impatient, I am!
I'm so horrible at this whole "patience" thing, especially when it comes to things ordered online. If I didn't like the actual act of holding a book, I'd totally invest in a Kindle or a Nook or something so I can download books automatically. As it is, Amazon lets you download MP3 CDs and whatnot, so at least my music can be bought and enjoyed ( Read more... ) -

I had my interview at Universal Studios today. On my way out of the house, I saw a dragonfly perched on the tip of my car's antenna, which I took to be a good sign. It was sprinkling when I left Universal, and once I got onto the freeway I saw a rainbow. More good ( Read more... )
