Bland Updateyness.
It wasn't hard for K to convince me to stay home today and wait for FedEx to deliver her scrips; I suggested it last night, after all. I have the vacation time to use, so I'm not going to miss out on too much pay.
Plus, I got a helluva lot of cleaning done. I even vacuumed most of the area rug in the living room (save the parts under the sectional)...it was gross. Now it's not so gross. Since most of K's house is tiled and/or laminate floored, she does not own a vacuum. I do.
Been listening to the Girl Genius novel, "Agatha H. and the Airship City." It's basically the novelization of the graphic novels; so far, it's covered the first two volumes, and I imagine that this first novel will finish up after the third volume, when Agatha escapes Castle Wulfenbach. I'm not enraptured by the narrator, but she's good. I just wish she were British, since, you know, the story is set in Europe.
