Good Omens
I had my interview at Universal Studios today. On my way out of the house, I saw a dragonfly perched on the tip of my car's antenna, which I took to be a good sign. It was sprinkling when I left Universal, and once I got onto the freeway I saw a rainbow. More good!
The interviewer, the manager for costuming, thanked me for being on time (!) and was very impressed with my experience, knowledge, etc. and hired me on the spot. YAY!!! *happy dance*
Orientation is next week. I'll know then when I can put in my notice at the Big Red Dot; while the job at Universal is only seasonal/temporary, I know I won't be able to work two jobs, especially one as draining as Target, and the work at Universal is going to be more physically demanding (at least that's how the interviewer made it sound). There's also a chance that they will keep me on at Universal after Halloween Horror Nights ends. Either way, I'm leaving Target ASAP.
There are very few things that could make my day better, like if my ZOMG Smells order shipped... but I'll take the dragonfly and rainbow. That's powerful enough. :D
