a beautiful moment
I saw a meteor on my way home last night! It was larger and brighter than a star, and shone vaguely green, a little like a firework but it wasn't. It wasn't like watching the Perseids either, which fly by and disappear almost as soon as you see them. This meteor seemed to fall for a long time, though really it was only a few seconds. It was -

Rock 'n' Roll, and Syd Barrett
I went to see Tom Stoppard's "Rock 'n' Roll" just before it closed at A.C.T. in San Francisco. It was a show about many things, one of them music. Like most plays by Tom Stoppard, it consisted mostly of people talking. Last week when we met up, ticklepenny and I exchanged gifts! I finally gave her the hat I had made for her and her much belated Christmas present, and she gave me some beautiful French Fashion cards, which are great! And. . .
