wildflowers!
Last week when we met up, ticklepenny and I exchanged gifts! I finally gave her the hat I had made for her and her much belated Christmas present, and she gave me some beautiful French Fashion cards, which are great! And. . .
WILDFLOWERS! Two seed packets, in fact, Wildflowers of California and Wildflowers of San Francisco and the Bay. I was truly touched. What can I say, ticklepenny knows me very well. Combining my love of wildflowers with my love of California. . . this was a wonderful gift! Thank you!
Both packets advise planting in early fall, so I excitedly decided to plant them all over our hill after we got our first rain. As it happened, it rained that very evening - but it has been bright and sunny here ever since! October is beautiful, but where is the rain?
Oh well! I will look forward to having something so enchanting as a hill blooming with wildflowers in the spring. <3
