I went to the Kaiser Fair Oaks office on Thursday to have my knee checked, but I had a massive headache. I got put into an ambulance, taken to a not-very-local hospital, and had tests for a stroke eval. They think I'm probably okay. The vet called me today and told me that both the existing shoulder lump and the new jaw lump are benign basal cell cysts! She said if he gets anesthetized for something, I should see if they have time, etc., to take these off, but there isn't any reason to take them off now. First of all, I'm having a lot of trouble eating. Many days I just have a few crackers. It makes me lose weight, but fortunately, it's only caused one kidney problem. We checked a lot of things and decided to do extra checking on UTI. The results came four days later, so the doctor had me start a traditional med -- cipro -- the day after the tests.
