Junie Can Open Doors!
I tried to post this yesterday, but the circle just kept going around. I was in the kitchen and saw her reaching up to the workroom door -- where her balls sometimes go under the door. I saw her actually get it open and dashed as quickly as I could and yelled and she came out. I told her she couldn't go in and she complained thoroughly. I've made a little yarn cover for the knob and she yelled even more when she found it, and that she can't move it, so that's okay now. I can still just put more pressure on it and open the door.
I hadn't planned to post about this: I just set the temp in the condo lower so I can nap and after a few minutes, I felt really hot. The temp was 84 on the thermostat. I turned it off, waited a bit, and turned it back on. I set it again to cool and 70 and a minute later, it was 86. I opened a couple of windows just a bit and turned the thermostat off. Now, 15 minutes later, it shows 81. The little clock on the desk says it's 77 here, but it's closer to both windows. I'm going to stay awake a bit and see if turning it back on and having the right setting will work. Otherwise, I'll call the company that put this one in. It'll cost more at night, but we're going to be 12F tonight and I really need something that works.
