Sitting under the dryer @ the salon seems to be the only time I'm unoccupied enough to want to write here. The urge hits me other places, but then there's the sink that needs to be fixed, the phone that needs answering, or the headache that just won't go away ( Read more... ) -
*so far, so good.
i'm two weeks post-op and everything is healing as it should. aside from a wicked left-side headache that comes and goes, pain that's not managed by vicodin, and a considerable amount of fatigue, i'd say i'm almost back to normal. my voice has changed noticeably and i'm learning to smell things properly ( Read more... ) -

for the first time in a long time, i actually ventured out of my house to celebrate NYE with other people. i picked up my brother's girlfriend, Day, and headed to dad's house. we had wings and meatballs, played xbox, and toasted on sparkling cider.

I decided today that I would make my first trip to the local dominican salon. My friends have been giving me grief over the fact that I have been faithfully going to the hair cuttery for years. They worked for me because they're open 7 days, don't require an appointment, and my hair has been growing and healthy since I started. I'm feeling like ( Read more... ) -

i'm sitting up in my bed at 136 in the morning, humming along to 808s & heartbreak because my mind decided that a little over 24 hours before my surgery was a fine time to work up a case of nerves. the plan was to fart around on the internet long enough to get bored, but there's nothing really interesting going on.
