I managed to get a copy of the pictures of the new XD-M yesterday. I had mentioned that Springfield Armory had created a new version of the XD in a previous post. Who was the knuckle head that thought that making 45ACP brass that uses small pistol primers was a good idea? The 45ACP cartridge has been around since 1903 and has always used large pistol primers. I manage to get one day of bunny hunting in this year. Season ends at the end of this month and I will not likely get out again. If money were no object and I felt like jumping through all the hoops to get a class III (full auto) weapon the MP-5 has always been top of my list of guns I would buy. As you probably already know from my previous posts I have been working on refinishing that old Remington 1100 I picked up late last fall.
