We have reached the delightful point in a child's illness where the child feels monumentally better and is bouncing off the walls, but is still contagous. He's bored, and mostly not in pain, but still clingy and whiny. It's taken me 2 hours to write this much because he keeps needing *something* every 5 minutes or so. Poor Nate wound up with chicken pox all in his mouth and on his tongue, so he spent most of the day before and all of yesterday not eating. That was fine, until he stopped drinking, too. Update from the couch
Nothing has changed. Knee still hurts a lot. Nate still has the chicken pox (diagnosed by dr, now) and gets to stay home for at least 4 days. A. has *something* - it could be shingles, but the dr. says no. He has to go back for more diagnosis, since Nate was with him.
