We went to DSI Comedy Theater on Friday night, and it was hilarious fun. We were extremely grown-up and skipped dessert that night in favour of the birthday cake I planned for my mom's birthday the next day. We're headed to New Bern this weekend, and we'll go to Pine Knowles Aquarium. Two years ago, when we went last time, N. acquired Dolphy, his absolute favourite stuffed toy, a foot-long plush dolphin. One of N's school buddies lives across the big road outside our neighbourhood. His mom and us have been coordinating visits between them on and off all break, and now N. is over there on his first ever sleep-over. We went out to dinner and had a very pleasant evening out. Bouncing baby boy is bouncy (and not a baby, either, anymore, I guess). He is un-sick, although not allowed to go to school, sadly, so his daddy is at home with him. We worked on tigersfan's resume ALL morning, and when I say we, I mean me, nikulai and skippyclese as well as tigersfan. It was actually surprisingly fun, and we spent a great deal of time joking around and picking on each other, and at the other end we got a pretty good resume' out of it.
