(oh my?)
We worked on
tigersfan's resume ALL morning, and when I say we, I mean me,
nikulai and
skippyclese as well as
tigersfan. It was actually surprisingly fun, and we spent a great deal of time joking around and picking on each other, and at the other end we got a pretty good resume' out of it. I'll do what I can to put in a good word.
The Prius is due its inspection (well overdue, actually), and this just drives me up the wall, so since its front tires won't pass inspection, I've been searching for tires. I've got one unmounted tire just kicking around, and it looks like I'll only have to buy one and pay to get two mounted. If I'd have been clever, I'd have ordered the other one to be shipped here and gotten Bro-in-law to mount them as he still has shop rights at 'The Station' where he worked through highschool and on-and-off through college. But oh well. Anyway, it won't break the bank any more than it is already broken... Gods, but there are lots of things to think about with tires. Just beginning to scratch the surface is tire size (measured in three dimensions), revolutions per mile (I need something in the 905 range), inflation pressure, price, brand, handling...
Right now both of my guys and A's brother are under the house trying to figure out why the furnace makes wonky noises and doesn't heat. Got to love mechanically-minded men. The two men are trying to teach N. about how to diagnose the problem with the furnace, and what sorts of things to try, and so on. It's a neat process to watch.
