The reason I'm so twitchy about hurricanes is that the spousal unit is the Arborist for the town, and in the event of storm damage, he'll have to stay in town and work 12-hour days for the duration of the cleanup. No names show in this article, but my wonderful (and extremely tired) husband had something to do with every single tree on this list. He dictated that list to the supervisor who sent it to the Town Manager or Mayor or whomever, who sent it to the press.

A. lost track of how many trees he cut up over the weekend. The massively powerful but geographically tiny storm cell that moved through on Friday night went straight down Franklin St. then moved through Durham up 15-501 business.
