I mean, don't try to force him to lie down if he's going to scream and kick and wake up the other 11 kids in the room, but don't let him get cute and play while everyone else is sleeping, either.

Warning:  potty training rhapsodies behind this cut.

So, after the long, useful post from last week,  we purchased training underwear for Peter.  Since there are a number of kids in his class at daycare who are in underwear, he knows what they are and thinks they're really neat.

Peter has been coughing and running grossly colored stuff out his nose for a few weeks.  So, when he woke up screaming at 10:30 one night and spent 2 hours at it, to finally go back to sleep at 1am, we decided he needed to go to the doctor - maybe it's more than just a cold.  Robitussin hadn't done anything, Mucinex was making it a little better, ( Read more... )

About a week ago, Peter started having screaming, fussing, yelling fits randomly when he got frustrated or when we were changing his diaper and he would have rather been doing something else.  I think...  no problem, he's being a toddler, and I won't let that change anything.
